It’s time, yes that time for horrible poetry. Bring your worst creations to the Wicked World’s fair. That sappy horrible stuff you wrote in high school that you never wanted to see the light of day again? Dig it out and let’s have some fun reading the regrettable, cringy musings of our past. Don’t have anything, then create something. A fresh take on a bad idea is always welcomed.
We will leave the interpretation of what consists of bad poetry up to the reader. You will read your creation out loud or you can have one of us read it for you. I promise it will be read with care and passion… maybe a little too much passion. Please be prepared to pour as much emotion into your creation as you can, we want to feel what you felt when you wrote it.
That poem about something weird that happened, your longing for a lost love who really wasn’t right for you anyway, your favorite car, horrible haikus, dirty limericks.
BRING THEM ALL!
